Welcome to Saint Anthony Parish in Lackawanna NY
From the Desk of Deacon Mike
St. Anthony’s Welcomes Bishop Michael Fisher On behalf of St. Anthony Parish, I would like to welcome Bishop Fisher as the 15th Bishop of our wonderful Diocese. May your time here be blessed with and filled with graces. May you lead with the help of the Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us on our heavenly path.
Pray for Peace We need to remember that the words of Our Lady of Fatima in 1917, “Pray the rosary every day to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war.” Today we urgently need to have peace in our hearts and in our countrydue to the war with Satan. We need to continue to pray for peace and to work for peace and to take that peace to our families, friends, parishes, and the country.
Church Closings: Remember to watch WGRZ or WKBW for parish mass and event closings during bad weather. We are also using Simple Blast to leave messages for all of you at one time.
Finance Council: The Finance Committee will meet on February 9th at 6:30 PM in the lower hall.
Facebook: Our weekend masses are now live on our Parish Facebook Page which is Facebook@stanthonylacka. We also offer the families of the deceased when we have a funeral to livestream it on Facebook so more people can watch the services.
